About Me
I'm a journalist, photographer, and communications consultant, and am very excited to be a part of the Tanzania EQWIP HUBs team!
I currently live in Ottawa where I just finished working with an international development non-profit that offers youth-led entrepreneurship and employment programs in East Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America. During that time, I worked extensively with my colleagues internationally to develop localized communications, marketing, and social media strategies, as well as build their capacity as digital storytellers.
I have also worked with CBC Radio in Sudbury and Ottawa, and write for publications such as TraveLife Canada, Edible Ottawa, and Ottawa Magazine. I can't wait to continue to write about what I experience in Tanzania and around East Africa! I'm a graduate of Carleton University's journalism program.
While I love having different work projects on the go, I appreciate a balance in life. I love outdoor activities of all kinds, travelling, and working with people around the world to share their stories. When not doing these things, I can most likely be found listening to podcasts, reading dystopian novels, or baking.
